Acting Classes
Mysterium is pleased to offer on going acting classes taught by Theatrical Director and Educator, Marla Ladd coming again on Thursday Nights.  Thursdays are a special night because that is the time for our acting classes for beginning and intermediate actors. Marla guides a small class of acting students thru the process of scene study, cold readings and audition preparation along with developing a plan for becoming a working actor. Her small classes offer personalized instruction to maximize the actors tools including improv, character analysis, movement and vocal work. The acting classes start promptly at 7pm and run approxiamately 3 hours. Eventually, each student is assigned 2 scenes and 2 partners along with 4 monologues to perfect for auditions. Twice a year, a showcase will be presented for actors to strut their growth.

Acting for the Camera Whether you are just beginning your journey or are a more experienced actor looking to hone skills and create more fresh and dynamic performances, this is a workshop where the aim is to gain confidence in front of the camera and learn to relate honestly with others so that we can expose our true feelings and create dynamic moments in art.  Instructor Jay Wallace is guiding this course on Wed evenings on-going at mysterium.  Call to book your spot as classes are limited to 14 members.  714)602-7975 or email Jay at jaydwallace@hotmail.com.

Goddess Workshop Retreat Series
The Goddess Retreat is a sacred place to Connect with feminine creative energy called the Goddess. The Goddess retreat is designed for women who want more balance in their lives. Come experience the many ways goddess Energy can support you. The Goddess Retreat will re-energize, re-create and reconnect with your inner spirit. The retreat will introduce the traditions of the goddess using art, dance, drama and music in group experiences and rituals to explore that beautiful nurturing and creative woman in us all.

Registration for each session is limited to 15 wonderful women at an economy reduced rate of $195. which includes 2 gourmet meals and tea along with the rituals. Women are asked to wear white comfy clothes and to bring something for the alter to honor the women in our lives. Fairy Parties

From Fairy wings to costumed actors who create and interactive experience, your special event will be remembered.
